Mississippi Blues Trail

Drawing from a mix of European, Native and African Musical Tradtions, Blues Music is the quintessential form of American Musical Expression. Originating within the American South, this heritage can be felt within all subsequent genres forming within the artistic laboratory that is American Civilization; Rock n Roll, R&B, Country and even Rap can trace some degree of lineage. 

The hotbed of Blues activity is centered within the unassuming Deep South state of Mississippi, in which there is an entire marker trail dedicated to the history and heritage of the Blues. In this section I will be chronicling my travels along the Blues Trail.
